The Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour will take you to the center of Columbus’ booming cocktail culture as we visit some of the best bars in the city. Along the way, we’ll meet some of the city's most talented mixologists, sample their delicious creations and learn tips from the pros so you can recreate your favorites at home.

When you take one of our tours you'll get a Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour Passport and you'll receive your first three stamps… then it’s up to you to fill your passport with stamps from the remaining venues. Take additional tours with us or stop by each of the amazing bars on your own. Either way, complete your passport and we’ll send you a one-of-a-kind Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour T-shirt. Tour Details

Our guided walking tour includes stops at three venues where you will enjoy a craft cocktail, mixology lesson, and Q&A with the experts. You’ll also enjoy appetizers at each location while you learn how to make finely crafted cocktails. 

  • $75 per person. Price includes gratuity
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to participate
  • Saturdays, year round as well as some Sundays (see tour dates below)
  • Start Time: 4pm
  • Duration: approx 3 hours

The Venues

The Bar at Hyde Park — Anchoring the Short North, this elegant bar boasts a signature cocktail menu that is sure to please any cocktail aficionado.  

Blind Lady Tavern — Built in 1831, this is the longest-running bar in Columbus. The pre-prohibition themed saloon offers both classic and craft cocktails. Hear about the history of the tavern and its ghostly inhabitant, Frances Miller. 

The Bottle Shop — They've got it all! traditional cocktails alongside seasonal cocktails and next to a market and food truck. The cocktail menu is truly a conversation piece and the decor is pretty interesting too.

Buckeye Bourbon House — Tucked inside of the historic Buckeye Building in Downtown Columbus, Buckeye Bourbon House offers an extensive whiskey list as well as a creative cocktail menu. Play games, lounge is one of the many seating areas or belly up to the bar for a one-of-a-kind craft cocktail.

Denmark on High — A Euro-style cocktail bistro located on the 2nd floor of 463 North High. Vintage and modern cocktails are made using quality ingredients and spirits by award-winning bartenders. Take a tour of the Secret Cellar and event space.

Mouton — Vintage cocktails and classic highballs with hand-pressed citrus and high-quality ingredients for a shippable, enjoyable flavor experience and an inspired food menu featuring beautiful cheese, charcuterie, and dessert.

Service Bar at Middle West Spirits Distillery — The newly-expanded craft distillery, restaurant and bar are fueled by a passion to draw deeper connections between food and spirits. Service Bar delivers an experience that is refreshingly innovative.

Paulie Gee's — This place is as serious about their cocktails as they are about their pizza. Their one-of-a-kind cocktail creations are thoughtful and delicious. 

Sidebar — Occupying a space steeped in downtown history, this Latin American-infused Mediterranean restaurant serves up hand-crafted, pre-prohibition style cocktails that are both eclectic and creative

Soul at the Joseph — A vibrant coffee bar by morning and a creative craft cocktail and wine bar by night. Soul at the Joseph has the perfect beverage for any time of day to accompany contemporary and inspired dishes that reflect their European heritage

The Table — A farm to table restaurant and craft cocktail bar inspired by world flavors. The Table works closely with farmers and urban gardeners to bring you the freshest ingredients for their kitchen and bar.

Two Truths — Seasonal cocktails as liquid assets with a late-night menu of shareable and chef-inspired pairings for your desired state.

Thurber's Bar — Named for the celebrated cartoonist and Columbus native James Thurber and located inside the Great Southern Hotel, one of our city's most iconic landmarks, this cozy bar is a perfect place for a quiet cocktail.
