Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour

The Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour explores our craft cocktail scene as we visit some of the best bars in the city. Along the way, we’ll meet some of the city's most talented bartenders and learn tips from the pros so you can recreate your favorites at home. It’s like being at the chef’s table — for cocktails. 

Every walking tour includes: 

• Visit three premiere cocktail bars

• Mixology lesson and 1 craft cocktail at each stop

• Dedicated Q&A with mixologists

• Light appetizers at each stop

Tour info: 

• $75 per person, including bartender gratuity

• Must be 21 years old to participate

• Saturdays and select Sundays (see dates above)

• Tour times vary — please see specific times for each tour

The Venues

Alibi Bourbon and Cocktail Lounge — In the Short North at the bottom of the Dakota building, offering hand crafted cocktails and flights. This bar is focused on creating Prohibition style craft cocktails but you can’t miss their more than 200 whiskies behind the bar.

Ampersand Asian Supper Club — A cozy Japanese fast-casual restaurant and bar crafts cocktails using Japanese spirits and unique ingredients. Come for the cocktails, stay for the ramen and other delicious house made Japanese fare.

Buckeye Bourbon House — Tucked inside of the historic Buckeye Building in Downtown Columbus, Buckeye Bourbon House offers an extensive whiskey list as well as a creative cocktail menu. Play games, lounge is one of the many seating areas or belly up to the bar for a one-of-a-kind craft cocktail.

The Citizens Trust — An upscale cocktail lounge in the newly renovated Citizens Trust Bank building in downtown Columbus crafting fine cocktails with fresh ingredients.

Denmark on High — A Euro-style cocktail bistro located on the 2nd floor of 463 North High, the old Yankee Trader building. Vintage and modern cocktails are made using quality ingredients and spirits by award-winning bartenders. Take a tour of the Secret Cellar and event space.

The Bar at Echo Spirits — Echo has assembled some of the most talented and creative bartenders in Columbus. With a focus on sustainability and seasonal offerings paired with the flexibility of weekly specials creates a menu found nowhere else.

Goodale Station — Rooftop bar and restaurant at the top of the Canopy hotel. Great vibes and views with amazing cocktails and a fantastic menu.

The Getaway Brewing Co. — From the founders of Seventh Son and Antiques on High and located in Dublin on the banks of the Scioto River. Getaway Brewing Co. features beer, wine & cocktails that will remind you of your favorite vacation.

Lumin Sky Bar & Kitchen — Located atop the AC Hotel in downtown Columbus, Lumin offers some of the best craft cocktails and views in the city.

Mouton — Vintage cocktails and classic highballs with hand-pressed citrus and high-quality ingredients for a sippable, enjoyable flavor experience and an inspired food menu featuring beautiful cheese, charcuterie, and dessert.

Natalie’s Grandview — Music hall, great food and incredible craft cocktails inspired by the creators of the Light of Seven Matchsticks in Worthington.

‘Plas – Food and Drink — Everything in its place, or mise en place, is their mantra and commitment. Whether it’s their food, cocktails, partners or atmosphere, ‘plas embodies the ethos of mise en place in everything they do.

ROOH — According to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, the six rasas, sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent help achieve a balance of body, mind and spirit and all of their cocktails are created with a blend of unique Indian ingredients, spices, fresh shrubs and artisanal spirits.

Service Bar — The bar at Middle West Spirits Distillery boasts a creative cocktail menu featuring many of the award-winning products they produce.

Sidebar — Occupying a space steeped in downtown history, this Latin American-infused Mediterranean restaurant serves up hand-crafted, pre-prohibition style cocktails that are both eclectic and creative.

Soul at The Joseph — A vibrant coffee bar by morning and a creative craft cocktail and wine bar by night. Soul at the Joseph has the perfect beverage for any time of day to accompany contemporary and inspired dishes that reflect their European heritage

Subourbon — Offering great Southern hospitality and food as well as an amazing whiskey selection in a relaxed setting in the heart of Linden.

VASO — Located on the rooftop of the AC Dublin, VASO offers unique cocktails and Spanish-style tapas and panoramic views of the Scioto River and Historic Downtown Dublin.

The Whitney House — Upscale bistro offering American & global fare with modern, seasonal twists, and craft cocktails.

Worthington Tavern — A vibrant, locally owned restaurant, bar, and covered patio. Their timeless space inspires a joyful atmosphere and honors Worthington's history and the bar enlivens your experience with a robust selection of original cocktails, great spirits, craft beer, and enticing wines.
